Now to get more Moon Stones, you have to go to Mt Moon. What a surprise, right? The problem is that there are no guaranteed spawns. Moon Stones inside Mt Moon respawn once a day, so if you don’t get enough on your first visit, you’re going to need to come back multiple times.

To find the Moon Stone, look for the Pokeball items and the craters on the floor. Both can contain Moon Stones; if a crater has one, your Pokemon following you will notice it and prompt an interaction. They’re also more likely to spawn the deeper you go inside Mt Moon, so make sure you’re exploring everywhere possible whenever you go Moon Stone hunting. Unfortunately, you can’t go back into Mt Moon from Cerulean City! You’ll need to wait until you can get back to the Pewter City side.

While you’re around Mt Moon, make sure you grab a Charmander too!
