When you first start playing Dauntless, you have access to all sorts of weapons, from swords to axes, to great big hammer. You won’t be able to pick the Ostian Repeaters though. The good news is that it doesn’t take long to get your hands on them if you just follow these simple steps.
How To Get Repeaters In Dauntless
To get Repeaters in Dauntless, you want to speak with Janek Zai in Ramsgate. There are a couple of steps you need to take before you can do this, though. It largely involves just playing through the story, but I have listed all the steps below for you.
- Speak to Katerin Sorrel at Ramsgate.
- Accept the Go Forth And Slay mission.
- Kill the Lesser Drask and the Lesser Boreus in your Pursuits.
- Speak to the Middleman at Ramsgate.
- Infuse any piece of gear or weapon with a Cell in your Loadout screen.
- Speak to Markus Boehr at Ramsgate and accept his mission.
- Craft two Blitz Tonics as per his request.
- Equip a Blitz Tonic, then use it on a Hunt.
Now, return to Katerin Sorrel and hand in the quest. After that, you can go and speak to Janek Zai. When you are finished speaking to him, pick the Ostain Repeaters, and they will now be a weapon choice for you. Ostian Repeaters are very interesting weapons, as they are modular and you can change out the parts of them to provide various stats, and different damage types.
They do turn into a very powerful weapon in the game as you upgrade them. They consist of different types of barrels, grips, prisms, chambers, and mods that you can get from different in-game activities. Different builds can be used under different circumstances, but for now, it is best to just practice a few Hunts with them. Make sure to take advantage of their charged special ability, as this can do a lot of damage to Behemoths.
