Fortnite has done it again by adding another pop culture reference to the game. In the middle of their full-blown Batman event to celebrate the caped crusader’s 80th anniversary, they found a little time to add in the Naruto Run. It became a recent topic for getting used by those looking to storm Area 51, though, those who turned up for the event did not have things turn out as they expected. However, someone was able to run past a news crew doing the Naruto run, and it quickly blew up on the internet. Enough for Fortnite to lean into the effect. Here’s how you get it, and you can use it in the game to your advantage.

Full Tilt Run Emote in Fortnite Lets You Naruto Run and Dodge Bullets

How To Get Full Tilt Run

Luckily, Fortnite did not provide any problematic or time-consuming challenge for players to acquire this emote. In the tweet they announced the Full Tilt Run emote, they shared they’re offering it in the Item Shop store.

The Full Tilt Run emote only costs 500 V-bucks. When you activate it, your character is going to run across the field much like the reference you see in the reoccurring video from the Fortnite tweet. To acquire the emote, you’re going to have to visit the Item Shop in Fortnite’s in-game menu to grab it.

Now, if you’re good enough, you’re going to be able to use this iconic emote as a way to avoid bullets when you’re running away from enemies.

How To Avoid Bullets

To make it clear, you’re not entirely immune when you’re using this emote. You don’t get invincibility frames when it’s active. You have to expertly duck and weave when you’re running to avoid bullets as they’re coming at you. When you’re using the emote, your running animation changes to the Naruo run with your arms behind your body, and head slightly down, leaning forward. Now, in this animation, you can control if you’re running to the left or right. The animation is going to send you forward, but you need to control the overall direction.

You can use this to your advantage, swerving to the left or right when you’re getting shot. You’re going to need to get used to it, which might take a few matches. Eventually, you’ll get it down.

Within no time, we can expect small groups of players to be running across Fortnite matches using this run, attempting to become the big winners. We can’t wait to see what the Fortnite community does with this iconic animation.
