Players are not always going to use their boots to delivery items in Death Stranding. When they get to the middle of episode 2 and going forward, vehicles are going to become an essential aspect of the game. These are going to grant players access to more storage space and make longer, quicker trips than they would be able to solely on foot. However, players cannot use container repair spray to fix them up. Here’s how you do it.

How to Repair Vehicles in Death Stranding

You’re going to notice your vehicle is going to get some wear and tear during your journey. You can see it due to the sparks on its hull and the smoking it’s emitting. These are clear signs of disrepair, and players who want to keep their vehicles around are going to want to take care of them. Fortunately, there’s a quick and easy solution to making sure a player’s vehicle consistently makes reliable journeys.

Whenever Sam enters a distribution center, he has the option to go into his private room. To do this, he goes down on an elevator to the lower levels where he can safely rest and relax from all the troubling deliveries he’s made. Now, to repair a vehicle, players have to place their ride on the elevator, and then have Sam go into the private room. If the vehicle is not on the elevator, it can’t get any repairs.

The other option is to have the vehicle stored by placing it into the garage. When you next take it out to use it, the vehicle should be fully repaired and ready to go. You’ll always want to make sure Sam is well-rested, too. He’s going to get the most benefit from a quick pit stop to his private room, along with his vehicles.

That’s all you need to know about repairing your vehicles in Death Stranding. You won’t get too much access to them until Episode 3, so make sure you get there before thinking about them too much for your transportation services.
