In Pokemon Sun and Moon, the HM is been replaced with the PokeRide system. The PokeRide system allows the player to ride on certain Pokemon with help of their special ability. This guide will show you all the Rideable Pokemons, where to use them and where you should they will be profitable. So without any further ado, let’s begin with the game.

Every Pokemon you catch will have certain abilities, but there are few with special Abilities to Ride. Ride Pokemons are summoned through the Ride Pager, which can be accessed with the ‘Y’ button. The Pokemon Trainer must first have to unlock them by progressing in the story and certain areas. Once you unlock the riding part, you are free to break through rocks, surf, fly, and do much more. Here is the list of all the Rideable Pokemons in Pokemon Sun and Moon.

Tauros

  • Special Ability: Charge
  • Where to Ride: Allows the player to move quickly on land and smash through large boulders

  • Special Ability: Paddle
  • Where to Ride: Allows the player to surf across the water. The player can also fish from Lapras’s back

  • Where to Ride: Allows the player to surf rapidly and smash through rocks in the water.
