Assassin’s Creed: Origins – Legendary ISU Armor in Secret Sphinx Tomb

Crimson Dragon

So you’ve found all 12 Stone Circle locations in Eqypt and Aligned the Stars. You’ve then raided many Tombs and scrounged up at least 50 Silica. It’s time to cash in on all that hard work and visit the secret tomb in the Sphinx to retrieve the Legendary ISU Armor.

The Secret Sphinx Tomb

If you’ve followed our guide to the Tombs in Egypt, you’ll have noticed that the Eesfet Oon-m’Aa Poo Tomb, the one inside the Sphinx, has been purposefully left to the very end. That is because there isn’t much to do here until you’ve Aligned the Stars and have at least 50 Silica. Armed with those, proceed around to the back side of the Sphinx – yes, I’m aware of the jokes – and enter the Tomb.

If you’ve visited the Sphinx before, you will have seen the map of all the Stone Circles. Once they’ve all been completed, this map will illuminate the ceiling and allow you to proceed further into the Tomb. You will eventually make your way to an Ancient Mechanism that will require 50 Silica to activate.

Legendary ISU Armor

Upon activating the Ancient Mechanism, you’ll be treated to another very interesting cutscene. I suggest you listen to the whole thing and enjoy the mystery that’s being portrayed here. After its completion, you can leave the Tomb and you’ll almost certainly miss the fact that you have been awarded with one of the most unique armor sets in the game. Open your inventory and you’ll find the Legendary ISU Armor ready for you to equip.

Like all armor in the game, it doesn’t apply any special benefit to Bayek, but it certainly looks futuristic and out of place in sandy Egypt. A cool addition is the fact that Bayek’s voice actually changes to make it sound like he’s talking from behind a mask.

As much as I like the unique appearance of the ISU Armor, I did eventually switch back to something more period appropriate. I did, however, greatly enjoy the voyage to get to this point. Exploring Tombs, and especially Ancient Mechanisms, in Assassin’s Creed: Origins, was a lot of fun!
