Dark Souls 3: Burial Gifts and their Advantages Guide

If you have checked our Character Class Creation guide, then you must have known how about the Burial Gifts. These are the Consumables items that offer unique benefits to your character. There are 9 gifts in total and every gift is obtainable in the game as you progress but this Gift works as a Boost from the start. So without any further ado, let’s begin with the Burial Gifts and its advantages.

Life Ring

Advantage: Ring set with a small red jewel. Raises Maximum HP.

Divine Blessing

Advantage: Warm, blessed holy water. Fully restores HP and cures ailments.

Hidden Blessing

Advantage: Pure, blessed holy water. Fully restores FP.

Black Firebomb

Advantage: Firebomb charged with a special block. An uncouth gift for the departed.

Fire Gem

Advantage: Material used to upgrade fire weapons. More appropriate for a warrior than pretty trinkets.

Sovereignless Soul

Advantage: The sovereignless soul of one who slept beside you. Use to acquire many souls.

Rusted Golden Coin

Advantage: Burial item for good fortune after death. Greatly increases item discovery for a short while.

Cracked Red Eye Orb

Advantage: Become a Dark Spirit and invade Another World(Can be used only once).

Young White Branch

Advantage: Can be used to blend into the environment(Can be used only once).

The Best option for PvE players can be either Life Ring or Sovereigns Soul as the rest of the Gifts can be obtained early in the game. There is an Option for Fire Gem as it will tempt you with the advantages, but if you select it and by the time you meet Andre the Blacksmith at Firelink Shrine it will be useless.
