Power Armor is the most powerful weapon you will use in your trip to the Wasteland in Fallout 4, as it’s a vehicle that will fasten your movements and hugely enhance your performances when it will all be a matter of raw power. The most interesting thing Bethesda has crafted for us is the chance to store each part of the Power Suit in specific spots throughout the map and change them with those equipped at the moment in case we want to upgrade the overall machine or just get rid of damaged parts. Moreover, it’s always nice to see people around the spot (i.e. Sanctuary) using the Power Armors you stored when an attack comes to the base and you need a hand to protect it.
You can see the best pieces of armor and where to find them below.
T-45 POWER ARMOR
Along the top of the map, from where you start at Vault 111 head east until you reach the Robotics Disposal Ground. You will find some Fusion Cores, the things that keep your machine running, and a mini-nuke Fat Man. Proceed a bit southeast of that marker, staying at a certain distance from the USAF Satellite Station Olivia, until you see a crashed Vertibird with a full set of T-45 Power Armor.
PARTIAL SET OF T-45 POWER ARMOR
Another downed Vertibird gives you a chance to get a partial set of T-45 Armor. You will find it in Covenant Lake: head southeast from Vault 111 until you get to the Red Rocket (yes, where you first met Dogmeat). At Covenant Lake, exactly at the northern tip, pop a Rad-X, head underwater and get the Power Armor.
PARTIAL SET OF T-51 POWER ARMOR
South of Vault 111, find Fort Hagan and go east until you find Fiddler’s Green Trailer Estates. Hack the terminal you’ll see there, which will make you gain access to the Fiddlet’s Green Trailer Key. Use the key to get the armor. (The place is filled with ghouls, so beware).
PARTIAL T-45 POWER ARMOR
On the same path you took from Vault 111 to Covenant Lake, keep going southeast until you find Irish Pride Industries Shipyard. On your way to that building you will notice a crashed Vertibird and a partial set of T-45 Power Armor.
