Guerrilla Games finally released The Frozen Wilds DLC for Horizon: Zero Dawn. It is the first and the only DLC content that the development team will release for the game. The DLC is out now worldwide, but almost all players are unaware of How To Start The Frozen Wilds DLC in Horizon Zero Dawn. In this guide, I have listed out two ways by which you can Start Playing The Frozen Wilds DLC in Horizon Zero Dawn. So let’s get started without wasting any time.
How To Access or Start The Frozen Wilds DLC
Method 1: Find Ohtur And Get The Frozen Wilds Quest
You need to find a Quest giver name “Ohtur” – he will give you a quest named “Into The Frozen Wilds”, this is the quest that will grant you access to the DLC area. Here’s where to find Ohtur in Horizon: Zero Dawn (Map Location).
Go to DayTower – it is a settlement situated on the eastern outskirts of the Carja Territory. This is the place where to need to look for Ohtur – it won’t be difficult for you to locate him, mostly you will meet him right at the entrance of the city. For your help we have an Ohtur Location Marked on Map – just go to this BLUE LOCATION – you will find Ohtur.
Method 2: Find Yariki And Get Into The Frozen Wilds Quest
The other way to get Into The Frozen Wilds Quest is To Go towards the Grave-Hoard, old ruins mostly found in “The Longroam – a region to the north of the Nora Sacred Lands in Horizon Zero Dawn”. At this location, you need to look for BLUE LIGHT or MARKER near a cliffside, follow it and you will come across a new fire camp and a woman named YARIKI. Speak to her and once the conversation ends – you will start the “Into The Frozen Wilds Quest”.
There are two other YARIKI whom you can talk and start the quest. One Yariki is at “Two Teeth Bandit Camp” and the second one is at “Rhavid in Maridian”. You can talk to any of these Yariki to start The Frozen Wilds DLC.
In short, here are the ways to start The Frozen Wilds DLC Quest in Horizon Zero Dawn:
- Ohtur, who knows how to get to The Cut, can be found inside the Carja border fort known as Daytower.
- Rhavid, a Carja nobleman with information and speculation about the Banuk borderlands, can be found outside Meridian.
- Yariki, a Banuk woman with a dire warning about the dangers found in the borderlands, can be found north of the Grave Hoard.
