With the launch of 2nd gen pokemon, Pokemon GO has witnessed a good return of players after a period of active users logically falling down. With players, problems have returned as well, and in particular, one issue has been discovered by those who have downloaded the latest update on iOS devices and specifically iPhone.
Basically, people are finding a white sky loading screen after a Pokemon GO crash on iPhone. Reddit user D_LOWGAMES has apparently found out a solution to the issue, detailing it in this short post.
“All you have to do,” he says, “is after you open the app and get to the loading screen wait until the progress bar is about 7/8 done(should be underneath iglybuff and almost at Togepi). Once it is there swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the control center and turn on airplane mode. Then get rid of the control center and get back into the app. The game should load normally, but say “No internet connectivity”. Now turn off airplane mode and enjoy”
Hopefully this is enough to have you and your app up and running until Niantic offers an official fix.
