Records are a type of collectible in Wolfenstein 2 that are spread throughout the various levels. You can either collect them as you play through the game, or use the Engima Machine to revisit levels to gather them after you finish the main story. If you are unsure on how to use the Enigma Machine, you can check out our useful guide. In this guide we will show you the locations of all the Record collectibles.
The Records take the form of Nazi approved songs and collecting all ten will net you the Audiophile achievement. The records can also be listened to using the Jukebox in Eva’s Hammer.
#1 – Manhattan Harbour District
Head for the Police Station in the Manhattan Harbor District.
Once you are there, head upstairs and jump across the large hole in the floor on the first floor. The Record is waiting for you on the table in the corner.
#2 – Manhattan Ruins
Head to the large open area where you fight a massive Nazi robot during the story mission. On the left hand side as you enter the area (or the right hand side if you load in via the Enigma Machine) you will find a broken wall.
Go in this hole in the wall and the Record will be behind the desk.
#3 – Manhattan Penthouse
After you reach the top of the Manhattan Penthouse, the record is on a table in the corner of the room on the lowest level. If you use the Enigma Machine to load in, just drop down through the hole in the railing in front of you and walk forward, it’s right there in the corner.
#4 – Manhattan Bunker
Make your way to the large control room in this area. It is in a roughly semi circular shape, and you need to climb up on a platform to enter it.
Go down the corridor at the back of the upper level and the record will be waiting for you on a desk in that room.
#5 – Roswell Downtown
Make your way down the street and then right, you will come to the music shop with a red front.
The record is waiting for you near a drum kit in the back room.
#6 – Roswell Underground
For this record, you need to backtrack the whole way to the start of the rail system if you use the Enigma Machine to enter it. If you are playing normally, the record is very close to where you first enter the underground system.
You will see a large, well lit tunnel that branches off from the main platform, forming an archway.
Underneath this arch is a booth, the record is in there on the bottom shelf of the desk.
#7 – New Orleans Wall
This one is very easy to find using the Enigma machine, as you pretty much load in right on top of it. For people playing through the game, make your way to Joy’s Alligator Farm. It will be easy to find due to its sign, and all the alligators will be a dead giveaway.
To the right of the sign is a corner shop with a broken front wall, go in there and your item is behind the counter.
#8 – New Orleans Lakeview
If you are playing through this game for the first time, keep an eye out for a section where you emerge from an underground tunnel into a street that is blocked off half way down it. If you are using the Enigma Engine to find this one, you will come to the tunnel very quickly and need to turn around.
The item you seek is in the back of a van right beside the road blockage.
#9 – Venus Habitat
Find the main common room near the area where you audition for the Nazi movie in the story.
The record will be in the smaller “Room 8” that joins onto this larger room.
#10 – Venus Oberkommando
For this one you need to make your way to Section 21 of the Oberkommando. It is easy to find, as all the section numbers are written in large writing on the walls. On the upper walkway in this section make your way to a room marked as being the quarters of one “F. Wetterwisser”. The Record is in there beside a statue of an ugly looking Nazi.
