Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Can Run At 120 FPS?
Ubisoft's latest installment in Assassin's Creed series, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is one of the best looking game and has received praises for this from both critics and fans.
Now, according to Reddit user "PcChip", Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag can run at 120 FPS. According to PcChip, to achieve 120 FPS for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, all players need to do is Turn OFF 3D while using Nvidia's 3DVision.
This will make Assassin's Creed IV run super smooth, and when he takes OFF his glasses everything goes blurry. The reason PcChip unveils for this is that Nvidia uses Active 3D. Read below what exactly PcChip stated:
"When testing out AC4:BF with 3DVision, after I disabled 3D (with CTRL+T), I noticed it was *amazingly* smooth... too smooth...
I took the glassess off my eyes and the familiar double-image blur effect was back (the one that is present by the method of forcing 60fps that the developers chose)
I put the glasses back on... and noticed they were still shuttering even though 3D was disabled, and the blur was GONE!
My fps counter still only shows 60FPS, but that's 60 frames per second, PER EYE.
It's a smooth 120fps!
Of course, there's no way I can say if this will work for you, but it's sure working for me! "
60 FPS for each eye?, Yes and for those who disagree, Nvidia has already announced 3DVision can in fact support 120 FPS on 2D games. We are still putting this in rumor category.
