Metal Gear Solid V: "Gameplay And Cutscenes Use Same Camera For Sense OF Realism" Explains Kojima

Metal Gear Solid's creator and one of the gaming industry's most respected legend, Hideo Kojima has revealed some new details via Twitter regarding Metal Gear Solid V's gameplay, cutscenes, camera transition and more.

Metal Gear Solid game is know for its long cut-scenes but this time around it looks like Hideo Kojima is planning to condense it in Metal Gear Solid V.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground ZeroesOn Twitter, Kojima first stated: "The opening of Ground Zeroes also shows that intent. Gameplay and cutscenes use the same camera. That way there’s a sense of realism. In addition the opening of Ground Zeroes is set in a way that makes you understand the position of the imprisoned Chico."

"One camera, game scene cut scene, there is a sense of reality that way. The OP of the "GZ" is a consideration so you can see some accommodation location of Chico."

A good move by Hideo Kojima considering the fact that long cutscenes and never-ending expositions in Metal Gear Solid game has been a hot topic of discussion or i should say of criticims among fans.
