DualShock 4 vibration issue reported after installing PS4 firmware 1.70, temporary fix available
Recently released Playstation 4 firmware 1.70 added some really nice features such as ShareFactory: brand new video editing suit, HDCP off, pre-loading games and many more, but added quite of few bugs/glitches as well, and one of them is malfunctioning of DualShock 4 controller vibration.
According to the reports from multiple users on Reddit, after installing firmware 1.7, PS4 restarts but DualShock 4 controller no longer vibetares, as the feature is turned OFF by default, the option will appear ON in the setting menu, but won't work at all.
Thankfully, there's a temporary fix already available, all you need to do is Hold Home Button, Home Menu will appear, from there select Adjust devices and then Turn OFF device and lastly press Home button once again to turn on DualShock 4 on again, it will start vibrating again.
