Elder Scrolls Online for PS4/Xbox One delayed rumor looks legit, retailers changes release date
Its seems like the the launch of Elder Scrolls Online MMO on Playstation 4 and Xbox One has been delayed by 6 months and Bethesda representative leaked the announcement pretty early by mistake.
Reddit user spotted an update on TESO Freaquently Asked Questions which stated that Elder Scrolls Online launch on PS4 and Xbox One has been delayed by six months to "deliver the experience our fans expect and deserve"
You can check out snapshot of the FAQ below, its no longer available. The details in it reads: "When does The Elder Scrolls Online officially launch? The Elder Scrolls Online officially launched on April 4, 2014 on PC and Mac. While it has become clear that our planned June release of the console versions isn’t going to be possible, we have made great progress, we have concluded that we’ll need about six more months to ensure we deliver the experience our fans expect and deserve. For additional information on the delay, please see this blog post (link)."
This seems pretty legit as numerous online retailers have started to adjusted release date of Elder Scrolls Online for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Shopto updated their listing and now release date section reads: "TBC 2014", Play has more specific release date "26 December 2014".
We have contacted Bethesda for some official words on this. Stay tuned as we will update this post as soon as we get to hear something from them.
