The Last of Us: Remastered Confirmed 60 FPS on PS4, Naughty Dog Applying Final Polish "That Fans Want And Deserve"
It seems like Naughty Dog has finally achieved the target they set for themselves for The Last of Us: Remastered for Playstation 4, the development team achieved their target of 60 FPS, as per the details coming out from Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann (these guys need no introduction).
Bruce Starley tweeted: "I had a dream in 60fps last night. #TLOUremastered" and to this Neil replied: " I had a dream in 60fps last night. #TLOUremastered" what if I told you that was no dream? #believe"
Christian Gyrling, Lead Programmer at Naughty Dog also hinted that they indeed achieved something on Playstation 4 with The Last of Us: Remastered.
"Today ended on a really good note. It's awesome to be surrounded by talented and passionate people. #NaughtyDog #TheLastOfUs #PS4"
Gyrling also confirmed that now the development team has started adding final touches to The Last of Us: Remastered on Playstation 4.
"Not yet. Adding the final polish that we know that our fans want and deserve."
Furthermore, Gyrling also revealed a tip to hunt bug in The Last of Us: Remastered. He stated:
Being able to change the behavior of a memory allocator to be linear, blocky, with-memory-wall, etc is useful when bug hunting. #TLOU #PS4
So we should just consider this an official confirmation from Naughty Dog that The Last of Us: Remastered is finally up and running at 60 FPS.
