Xbox Live Gold Needed To Play Destiny Beta on Xbox One and Xbox 360 Confirms Bungie


Bungie has just confirmed via Twitter that Xbox Live Gold subscription is required to play Destiny beta on Xbox One and Xbox 360. The developer has also confirmed that for some "activities", Playstation Plus subscription is needed on PS4 and PS3, no further details on what those activities are, was revealed.


"Xbox Live Gold is required for the Destiny Beta. PS Plus for some activities. Trial accounts will work in both cases." tweeted Bungie.

Destiny beta will go live later this week. The taster will be available first on Playstation consoles and later for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 players.

Destiny beta for Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 owners will begin on July 17 and will provide access to some Story missions, PvP Crucible maps and Strike missions. It will then go Offline on July 21 before coming back online on July 23.

From here along with PS4, PS3 users, Xbox One and Xbox 360 users will receive access which ends on July 27. It will then end on July 27. This means, PS3 and Playstation 4 owners will get access to Destiny beta for Eight Days as compared to Four Days for Xbox 360 and Xbox One players.
