Ryse: Son of Rome PC Graphical Features Detailed, Xbox One vs PC Gameplay, No Microtransactions And More
Crytek has just detailed the long list of PC exclusive features and lots of new details about Ryse: Son of Rome. Crytek via their official website revealed that Ryse: Son of Rome for PC is not just an upgraded version of Xbox One port. It will support 4K resolution which will allow for the visuals to shine with "spectacular new levels of details."
The studio added that PC gamers can expect to see some "Jaw-Dropping textures, shading and more". Frame-Rate will be unlocked right from the start by default, however players will have an option to lock it at 30fps for smooth performance.
Furthermore, PC players will also have an option for shading quality, shadows quality, particle quality, animation quality, object detail, motion blur, temporal anti-aliasing, and anisotropic filtering.
Crytek also confirmed that there won't be microtransactions option for Ryse: Son of Rome for PC. The game is scheduled to launch on October 10. You can check out comparison video between Xbox One vs PC version below.
Lastly, Crytek's Online Marketing Manager, Com_Raven, detailed the Ryse PC VRAM requirements. According to Com_Raven, PC gamers will need GPUs with 3GB of VRAM for Very High textures at 1080p, and players with 2GB of VRAM will be able to enable High textures which will be similar to the one found in the Xbox One port.
