Christmas comes early for PC gamers, according to details in an online ad (discovered by NeoGaf user Lucifon), Insomniac's upcoming open world, third-person shooter title, Sunset Overdrive will launch on PC. You can check out the snapshot of ad below, it clearly states that Sunset Overdrive is coming exclusively on Xbox One and PC.
Neither Insomniac nor Microsoft has confirmed anything, but this AD looks pretty legit considering the fact that previous two Xbox One exclusive titles "Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome" have already made their way on to PC.
How many of you think that this ad is legit? Tell us in the comment section below what you guys think? Sunset Overdrive is scheduled to launch on October 28, 2014 on Xbox One.
2027. Sunset City. A contaminated energy drink has transformed most of the population into a multitude of toxic mutants. For many it's the end of the world, but for you it's a dream come true. Your old boss? Dead. Your boring job? Gone.
Transform the open-world into your tactical playground by grinding, vaulting and wall-running across the city while using a devastating, unconventional arsenal. With hyper-agility, unique weapons, and customizable special abilities, "Sunset Overdrive" rewrites the rules of traditional shooters and delivers an explosive, irreverent, stylish, and totally unique adventure exclusively to Xbox One.
Microsoft's Mike Ybarra has issued a press statement via Twitter and confirmed that the inclusion of "PC" as platform for Sunset Overdrive in Ad is just a "Simple Mistake" . Ybarra said: "On the Sunset Xbox/PC ad: Not true, this was a simple mistake and the team is aware/addressing. Sorry for any confusion! #XboxOne"
