Sony: Unlike Competitors, We Don't Rely On One Genre

Peter Dille, senior vice president of marketing at Sony Computer Entertainment America, has declared  that company is not dependent on a single genre as one of its competitors:

"We've never been reliant on one product genre like one of our competitors. [Sony has] titles ranging from Killzone to EyePet. PlayStation is a very big tent and ... it's helped us sell 377 million PlayStation hardware products and two billion software products in 15 years."


Although his statement did not explicitly refers to Microsoft or Nintendo, it is not surprising that he was referring to the shooters on Xbox 360. As we all aware, the Christmas is near and the battle rages between Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.
