Xbox One Exclusive Quantum Break Delayed Because Of Technical Issues? Sam Lake Admits He Would Need More "Time"

Quantum Break

Since Quantum Break has been officially delayed, the Internet has strived to find the actual reasons why Microsoft and Remedy took that tough decision. In their press release, both Microsoft and Remedy have explained the delay with the way too crowded holiday line-up, since fans are waiting for Xbox exclusives like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Halo 5: Guardians and Forza Motorsport 6 this year.

Anyway, there's some clue out there that let’s us think the delay was not due to the too crowded 2015 line-up but to technical reasons. Among those rumors of Remedy implementing DirectX 12, we have new tweets by writer and Creative director Sam Lake that discussed about time:

Sam Lake talks about lack of time as a "problem" with Quantum Break, explaining there are "too many ideas, too little time".

Furthermore, even being at a point where (according to official press release) the game should have been almost ready for the release), Lake says he is "right now too busy making this game. All I need is time…".

So, Microsoft and Remedy really thought to the crowded holiday line-up or looked at the game and decided it needed some more polish… and time? Let us know your opinion in the comments section below.
