Call of Duty: Black Ops III To Run At 1080p on PS4 and Xbox One? "60FPS Is Highest Priority & Main Focus" says Treyarch
Activision and Treyarch officially unveiled Call of Duty: Black Ops III yesterday with a debut trailer, gameplay screenshots and ton of interesting new details via preview. The game will arrive only on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. This means Treyarch will have all the time in the world to make Call of Duty: Black Ops III, the best CoD game ever because the decade-old Xbox 360 and PS3 has been left behind.
On this note, should Call of Duty series fans can expect that Call of Duty: Black Ops III will run at 1080p on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One? Fans should keep their expectations in check because Treyarch Boss stated that "60FPS" is their top priority/focus.
Speaking to our friend at Gameswelt, Treyarch Boss Mark Lamia said (Translated):
"The PC is not to be put in second place, on the contrary. The 300 employees at Treyarch want to make the most of the strengths of the computer in order to give PC gamers the best possible gaming experience.
But much work is still to be done, obviously, just like with the console versions. Standing firm, however, Lamia said the focus of the team is a frame rate of 60 frames per second."
The PlayStation 4 currently does it with a resolution of 1080p. Regarding the Xbox One, Mark sidestepped the question a little by emphasizing that the final results are not clear yet. He reiterated, however, that the frame rate has the higher priority."
Call of Duty is one such video game series which is judged on the basis of Frame Rate Per Seconds and Gameplay by the franchise dedicated fan base, 1080p resolution and other things is not the main concerned. I am still keeping my finger cross and hoping that Treyarch delivers a smooth 60FPS experience with native 1080p resolution on both PS4 and Xbox One.
