Insider: Sony Bend's Unannounced PS4 Game Is More Like "The Last of Us", Guerrilla's PS4 Game Is Set To Launch In 2016
Well known industry insider Shinobi602 via NeoGaf has provided some interesting update on two unannounced PlayStation 4 Projects currently in development at Guerrilla Games and Sony Bend. Shinobi revealed that Guerrilla Games' unannounced PS4 project which is code-named as "Horizon" is still in development, release date is still assured as 2016 and some aspects of the game is still being prototyped.
"To update on that a little further, it's almost assuredly a 2016 title at this point. From what I hear, some things were still being prototyped as recently as the beginning of this year."
According to rumors, Guerrilla Games' "Horizon" is an open world RPG featuring Mechanical Dinosaurs. Some of the concept arts has already made its way on to internet, you can check them out here.
Shinobi also revealed few interesting details about Sony Bend's unannounced PS4 game. According to rumor, Sony BEND, the developer behind PS Vita exclusive game Uncharted Golden Abyss, is currently working on a Survival Horror Game for PlayStation 4.
Shinobi clarified Sony Bend are working on a PS4 game which falls in Survival Horror game, it shouldn't be compared with games such as "The Evil Within or Resident Evil".
"I wouldn't say to think of it as The Evil Within'ish or RE'ish "survival horror" however."
When asked further: Whether its going to be more like ZombieU, Bloodborne or The Last of Us? Shinobi replied:
"As far as I'm aware, more…TLOU'ish."
These are indeed some massive info and PlayStation fans will definitely love it especially the one where Shinobi says Sony Bend is more along the line of Naughty Dog's post apocalyptic adventure The Last of Us.
