The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Players Calls Movement Controls and Interface As "Weird, Poor, Completely Ruins The Game"

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Users over Reddit are claiming controls and interface don’t work as they should in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It’s not a matter of glitches and bugs this time around, as many are discussing the substantial quality of Geralt’s animations.

"Geralt handles like a tank with the most enormous turning circle I've ever seen for a main character", says user nosegrowssome, who clearly argues that backwards movements are not allowed both on foot and on the horse.

According to this user, interacting with objects doesn’t work, too. "The game never seems to know what you're trying to interact with, and you usually end up lighting and extinguishing a candle a few times before it figures it out."

Furthermore, interface and in-combat locking system should be improved via a new patch.

"The interface needs some serious work. Nearly all of the text is way too tiny. Your item bag is an incoherent mess. The screen is cluttered with too much and poorly sized information."
