MGS V: The Phantom Pain Final Box Art Released, "A Hideo Kojima Game/Kojima Productions" Removed
The Hideo Kojima/Konami saga seems to have finally came to a conclusion and all those Kojima Productions Disbanded reports has been confirmed to be true. Konami today released the final box art for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and guess what the term "A Hideo Kojima Game/Kojima Productions" naming has been removed for it. You can check out the new and old box art of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain below.
This means, the senior staff of Kojima Productions including Hideo Kojima are now working on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on a contract basis which expires in December 2015, and after which Kojima and Senior Staff will leave and the studio will be disbanded.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is scheduled to launch on September 1, 2015 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS3.
