Rockstar Games Confirms Not Being At Work On GTA V Story DLC
Sad news for all the GTA V supporters out there who have fallen in love with Trevor, Michael and Franklin. Rockstar Games has confirmed not to be at work on new story-based additional content for the game, as GTA Online's success as exceeded expectations and deserves a great amount of involvement.
"Substantial" story DLC were slated to release in 2014, according to recent reports about Grand Theft Auto V, even though last year we have witnessed the launch of PS4 and Xbox One versions, and this year the PC version arrived on the store shelves, too. Maybe all of this was unexpected.
This is what Rockstar's Design Director Imran Sarwar told IGN about this topic:
"Right now our focus is on GTA Online which has exceeded our expectations. We currently have all key members of the team that launched Grand Theft Auto V focused on supporting GTA Online in every capacity."
So, being so much involved in GTA Online is keeping Rockstar Games from developing additional contents for those who love the single-player mode.
While this could be truly unexpected, it is a sign of the times coming in video games. What's your thought about this? Share your opinion in the comments below.
