Ubisoft Comments On Assassin's Creed: Syndicate Being As Broken As Assasin's Creed Unity Reports
Ubisoft has commented early reports about Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, which is said by many guys who have given it a try at least as broken as last year's Assassin's Creed: Unity. From what we read, Ubisoft Quebec itself doesn't seem to be so convinced it can make it in time for day one.
Senior producer François Pelland has spoken with RedBull.com about how the game is still a work in progress, and actually it's still in a pre-alpha stage, but he could only guarantee the team will work "really hard"to make sure they can fix it by the end of next month.
"We are still in dev, we still have some work to do, so that's something we wanted to have from a performance point of view, from a fluidity point of view there's been a lot of work done in the past year. We'll be working really hard to make sure it's in great shape.”
Looking at what happened with Unity, we wouldn't be surprise if Ubisoft finally decides to delay Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. We are now at a point where not only the entire series but also the Ubisoft brand can be severely damaged by bugged release. And we don't know if it's really worthwhile to risk…
Anyway, we guess there will be another month of wait and see what happens with Ubisoft's latest triple-A action adventure game. Fingers crossed.
