Rise of The Tomb Raider Day One Sale Figure For UK Is Disappointing, Sold Just 63000 Units

Rise of the Tomb Raider

The day one sales figure of Rise of the Tomb Raider in the United Kingdom is out. The figure disappointing and it is something that both Microsoft and Square Enix don't want to see. According to the details shared by our friend at Erren Van Duine (on Twitter), Rise of the Tomb Raider sold 63000 units. This is way behind the debut sales figure of Tomb Raider reboot, on debut it sold 183000 units.

The low sale of Rise of the Tomb Raider in the UK could be attributed to a lot of things: a direct competition with the most awaited game of 2015, Fallout 4 (i.e. releasing it on the same day as that of Fallout 4, which sold 482000 units), timed exclusive deal with Xbox. However, not all hope is lost and Rise of the Tomb Raider has gained a small momentum at the end of November 14, according to a report from GFK Chart-Track.
