Star Wars: Battlefront Dev: Will Consider Adding VOIP and Other Features If There's Enough Community Demand
DICE has hinted that they are looking into adding Public Voice Chat feature in Star Wars: Battlefront. As you all know that there is no in-game VOIP feature in Star Wars: Battlefront and this has not gone down too well with a section of Star Wars video game fans. If you are among one of those Star Wars: Battlefront players who want to have a VOIP feature then DICE know about it because Design Director Niklas Fegraeus has stated that they will consider adding the feature if there is enough demand from the community.
Speaking to our friend at AusGamer at Star Wars: Battlefront review event, Niklas stated DICE would consider including it if there was enough demand from the community." Here is what AusGamer wrote in their review:
"there's no in-game VOIP.... ...For those who find this to be a particularly significant con, let DICE know: I chatted with design director Niklas Fegraeus at the review event, and he mentioned that DICE would consider including it if there was enough demand from the community."
Star Wars: Battlefront is out now in North America, and it will be available on November 19 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
