Just Cause 3 PC Players With AMD Cards Experiencing Graphical Glitches, Possible Fix Discovered
Just Cause 3 is finally out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game has a smooth launch on consoles, but PC gamers with AMD cards are experiencing some nasty issues, graphical glitches and many other things. Thankfully, a developer from Square Enix on Steam has responded to these issues. According to Square_Jason, Avalanche Studios are well aware of some issues on PC running Just Cause 3 with recently released AMD/ATi graphics card drivers. A fix for the issues is already in development and until that arrive players are requested to use the latest beta driver, link provided below.
Here is the full message of the developer on Steam: "There are some known issues that occur with the most recent official release AMD/ATi graphics card drivers. We’re working with AMD to fix the issue via an upcoming driver update - to ensure you don’t experience these issues yourself please make sure you are using the latest beta driver available here (64 bit)"
Here is a possible fix for Just Cause 3 issues with your AMD card
- Step 1: Open Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound
- Step 2: Choose your playback device
- Step 3: Click Properties
- Step 4: Go to the Advanced tab
- Step 5: Set the Default Format to 16 bit, 96000 Hz
- Step 6: Click OK
- Step 7: Significantly less ridiculous stuttering with the new Crimson beta drivers (Nov 30).
