Star Wars Battlefront First DLC Outer Rim Release Date And Price Leaked By Retailer
Star Wars Battlefront is not a huge game in terms of contents but it will get bigger and bigger thanks to a $49,99 Season Pass introducing three different expansion packs. The first of them, Outer Rim, is said to be coming soon but we still don’t have an official release date. Now it looks we are pretty close to it, by the way.
According to a leak coming from US retailer GameStop's website (now removed), Outer Rim is going to launch on April 5 (download starting at 9:00 AM CST) at the standalone price of $14,99.
Based on the description arriving from the American store, Outer Rim allows players to "fight among the factories of Sullust and battle within Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine in the Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim digital expansion."
Earlier rumors pointed out Outer Rim was releasing on March 12, which doesn’t seem likely right now, and including two new modes Invasion (30v30 set on Sullust) and Scramble (12v12). Other expansions are called Bespin (Lando Calrissian and Chewbecca among rumored characters, and Bounty Hunt as the mode) and Death Star with space battles.
