Gears of War 4 Review Embargo Ends On October 6 At 12:01 AM PDT
Gears of War 4 is finally releasing on October 11, and while we approach day one we have more news about when we'll be reading first impressions and reviews about the game. We don't have official information as usual, but insiders have been already informed about when the embargo is going to be lifted off, it seems.
Shinobi602 has reached Twitter to provide first details about this topic, letting us know that embargo will lift off next Thursday, October 6, at 12:01 am PDT. It's five days ahead of official launch, so it looks you'll have a fair time to check multiple reviews and build up your opinion, in case you have not pre-ordered the game.
Gears of War 4 is going to be the first game after the end of the Epic Games era, being done at newly established Canadian studio The Coalition, and the first to feature new protagonists, like Marcus Fenix's son JD Fenix. A new menace is also on the horizon, called the Swarm, and it looks an even tougher and challenging enemy than Locusts.
Fans who have pre-ordered digital version of Gears of War 4 (Xbox One or PC) can pre-load the game now. The size of the pre-load build is almost 55GB.
Gears of War 4 reviews will be live on October 6 at 12:01 a.m. PDT.
