Nintendo 3DS will not have a system similar to achievements or trophies
Nintendo 3DS will not be featuring the system to achievements or trophies that we see in our Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles respectively. As said by Bill Trinen Nintendo not prefer to offer that kind of reward to player, because they prefer more for own exploration in each game, rather than predefined rewards. Bill Trinen said to not miss the feeling of discovery when we play a new game.
Trinen said to Kotaku that "We're not opposed to Achievements, Basically, the way the games are designed is they're designed for you to explore the game yourself and have this sense of discovery. To that end, I think that when you look specifically at games from EAD and a lot of other games that Nintendo has developed as well, there are things you can do in the game that will result in some sort of reward or unexpected surprise."
This is Nintendo's point of view and so far Nintendo is the only company that has not taken such measures.
