New Mass Effect Andromeda PC Patch Fixes Technical Issues: Black Screen, Corsair Utility, And More
Mass Effect Andromeda is about to release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, but it's already available thanks to EA Access and Origin Access on PC and Xbox One, where it has showcased a series of technical issues not to be underestimated. Anyway, BioWare is indeed working to improve upon the current tech base, which means patches are dropping every day.
Producer Fernando Melo has stated on Twitter that a new patch, beyond the day one fix, is already coming to the PC users. That fix is set to "fix black screen / Corsair utility, MP sound, MP F-keys issues," while a further patch is "landing on Ark Natanus in patch 1.04 (PC/PS4 out now, XB1 mon/tues latest)" for all the platforms.
It looks, at least, BioWare and Electronic Arts used the early access as a test for them to check whether they could be providing more fixes to Mass Effect Andromeda. The day one patch is even reported to make faces a bit better for female Ryder, the protagonist, who's been among the most discussed Mass Effect things lately.
We'll need to wait on day one and see whether this results being true or just an impression due to the controversial launch of Mass Effect Andromeda.
