Death Stranding Gameplay Impression From Mark Cerny - Best Sense Possible A Kojima Game
Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding was expected to leave a big impression at PlayStation E3 2017 press conference, but few days before the event Hideo Kojima announced that Death Stranding will not make an appearance at E3 2017 as the focus right now is the development of the game. The news broke hearts of PlayStation fans, but it was not like Death Stranding was not even discussed at E3 2017. Post E3 2017 PlayStation press conference Sony's Sid Shuman and PlayStation 4 architect Mark Cerny talked a little bit about Death Stranding gameplay.
Firstly, Cerny reiterated that Decima Engine is a collaboration between Guerrilla Games and Kojima Productions, and the latter is contributing in a big way to it. He further added that he has seen some gameplay sequences (not played it yet), it looks impressive, and it is in the best sense possible a Kojima game.
"As for gameplay, I have seen some early work," he added. "I haven't gotten my hands on the controller yet, but I can say that the game shows a certain clarity of vision. It is in the best sense possible 'a Kojima game'."
Not many details shared by Mark Cerny, but still a good assurance that Death Stranding development is going on smooth, and the best part is that the game has got the Kojima touch.
