Splatoon 2 Sold 671K Units In Japan In First 3 Days, 102K Nintendo Switch Sold During Same Period
According to Famitsu, Splatoon 2 is off to a great start in Japan. The publication today shared a sales report of Splatoon 2, and it was revealed that the game sold 670,955 units in the first three days. This sales figure is only for the physical units of Splatoon 2 and doesn't include game sales from eShop. 670,955 units sold is an impressive number because this makes Splatoon 2 as the high selling Nintendo Switch game in Japan so far, and also the highest selling debut sales of Nintendo Switch game.
The launch of Splatoon 2 also made a big impact on the sales of Nintendo Switch during this same period. According to Famitsu report, 102,000 Nintendo Switch units were sold in Japan in this period. This means, Nintendo Switch total sales now stand at 1,205,087 units.
