Xbox One To Xbox One X - How To Transfer Games, User Settings In 3 Simple Ways
What is the first thing that Xbox fans (those who already own Xbox One) are going to do when they get their hands on Xbox One X? the obvious choice is going to be Transfer Games and Settings from Xbox One to Xbox One X. Microsoft today clarified that the transfer of data from Xbox One to Xbox One X is going to be very easy.
According to the details revealed by Xbox's Mike Ybarra, there will be three ways by players will be able to transfer their games and settings to Xbox One X. First, console and user setting can be first copied to an external drive, and during Xbox One X initialising process, connect this drive, the settings will get applied automatically.
On a similar note, games can also be transferred from Xbox One to Xbox One X. Most of the games are going to get the 4K patch before the release of Xbox One X. So the process is going to be simple, prepare the game well in advance by downloading the 4K patch and once Xbox One X releases, transfer them to the console using an external drive.
Last but not the least, how to transfer data from Xbox One to Xbox One X over Home Network. Mike Ybarra didn't provide the detail on this process, but he did add that all player will need to do is enable this feature on both consoles and let them do it rest of the work.
