No multiplayer feature for Batman Arkham City: Sefton Hill
Saddest news for Batman Arkham City fans all around the world, no multiplayer mode for the game. Sefton Hill, Batman Arkham City Director, in an interview to IGN confirmed that the upcoming sequel to Batman Arkham Asylum developed by Rocksteady will not have a multiplayer support.
This news definitely comes as a shocked to all the fans of the game, as they were eagerly waiting to try their hands on game's multiplayer mode. Earlier many reports suggested that Batman Arkham City will have a multiplayer mode support.
Sefton Hill said: "Our thought process behind this was fairly simple: when we investigated adding multiplayer we asked, 'If we use all of the energy that is required to create multiplayer and instead focus this on the single player, would that deliver a better overall game?'"
Hill also defended their decision to make Batman Arkham City a single player only experience saying " ... it would not have been possible to deliver Arkham City the way we wanted to if we'd have added multiplayer."
Batman Arkham City will launch in Fall 2011.
