Just three days time is left for the release of Assassin's Creed Origins and Ubisoft is making sure that everything is in place for their biggest release of 2017. On this note, Ubisoft has just shared with us the information regarding the DAY ONE PATCH (size and what exactly it does) and some of the things that you need to make sure you have in order to enjoy Assassin's Creed Origins starting from day one.

First and the foremost thing, Day One patch for Assassin's Creed Origins will update the game to version 1.02 - it will weigh 1.4GB on Xbox One, 1.3GB on PlayStation 4 and 1.2GB on PC. The update will be aimed at fine-tuning the balancing of the game, improve performance and stability, and reworking Photo Mode controls for better player comfort.

Secondly, Ubisoft revealed that the Xbox One X patch for Assassin's Creed Origins will go live in Early November 2017. It will most notably include 4K and Dolby Atmos support for Xbox One X, and support for HDR displays for all platforms.

Here is the list of tips from Ubisoft that will help you out in preparing for the launch of Assassin's Creed Origins i.e. make sure that you have everything in place for the release of Assassin's Creed Origins.

  • If you purchased a digital version of the game, the Day One update will be automatically downloaded and installed along with the main game.
  • If you purchased a disc copy of the game for Xbox or PlayStation, you might have to check if the game is up-to-date (1.02 version), and if it's not the case to accept the download and installation of the Day One Update.
  • If you purchased a disc copy of the game for PC, the Day One Update will be downloaded and installed along with the game executable.

Last but not the least, both the digital and retail version of Assassin's Creed Origins comes with only ONE AUDIO language - ENGLISH. If you want to play Assassin's Creed Origins with another language, there is a possibility - you can do that by simply downloading the audio pack for your desired language first.
