Xbox One X Beats PS4 Pro In The UK, Sold More Than 80K Units In First Week
How well did Xbox One X sold in the first week in the UK? This is a million dollar question that Xbox fans want to know and I am going to answer it. According to the details shared by our friend at GameIndustry Biz, Xbox One X sold over 80000 units in the United Kingdom in the first week. This is an impressive start considering the fact that Nintendo Switch sold this much unit in the first week when it launched in March 2017. The most important part is that Xbox One X managed to beat the sales of PlayStation 4 Pro which managed to sell just over 50000 units in November 2016.
When GIBiz a bit more into the sales figure of PlayStation 4 Pro, it was brought to our notice that PlayStation 4 Pro took a total of 4 Weeks to reach the figure of 80000 units. Two variants of Xbox One X was made available at launch - Xbox One X Standard Edition and the Project Scorpio Edition: most of the sales were for the special edition, about 55% of the overall launch week sales.
About 55% of the Xbox One X launch week sales came from the Project Scorpio version— Christopher Dring (@Chris_Dring) November 13, 2017
In terms of games, Call of Duty: WWII was the best selling game on Xbox One X in the first week, Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Origins was in second place, followed by FIFA 18, Forza 7 and Forza Horizon 3.
In short - this is a great news for Team Xbox at Microsoft and Xbox fans. They seem to have got the start they wanted with the Xbox One X. It would be interesting to see how things go from here for Xbox One X.
