CDPR Clarifies CyberPunk 2077 Will Be Just Honest Gaming Like The Witcher 3
November 19, 2017, started on a bad note for CD Projekt Red - there was a rumor on the internet which stated that CD Projekt Red is going the route of "Games As Service" for CyberPunk 2077 i.e. including microtransactions heavily in the game. The rumor spread like a wildfire on the internet and CD Projekt Red fans started asking for a clarification from the studio. thankfully, via Twitter, CD Projekt Red once and for all cleared all doubts of the fans regarding the inclusion of microtransactions in CyberPunk 2077.
CD Projekt Red advice fans not to worry at all, and think of CyberPunk 2077 nothing less than The Witcher 3. There won't be any hidden catch when the game releases worldwide, the game will be an honest gaming experience. CD Projekt Red ended the statement with these 4 WORDS - "We leave Greed To Others". Is this statement directed towards Electronic Arts for the recent Star Wars Battlefront II microtransactions controversy? It does look like that way. Anyways - you guys can take a read the full statement of CDPR below.
"Worry not. When thinking CP2077, think nothing less than TW3 — huge single player, open world, story-driven RPG. No hidden catch, you get what you pay for — no bullshit, just honest gaming like with Wild Hunt. We leave greed to others."

CD Projekt Red is one of the select few respected video games development studios. It is mostly known for their work on The Witcher video game series, and they have earned the goodwill of gaming community purely on the basis of how well they implement DLC content for their game - cosmetic DLC for their games are FREE (Just in case you are not aware of what exactly I am talking about then watch the video below).
