Sea of Thieves is Rare's big upcoming title for Xbox One, and there's a need for players to test it before it's out for everyone. To that end, it's had several alpha tests since last year only available to certain players.
Now, Rare will allow anyone to sign up as a participant for the next big Sea of Thieves beta test. You just need to head over to the official Sea of Thieves Insider program site and sign up between now and Dec. 1.
You'll need to sign an NDA, as long as you're 18 years or older, and you'll also need to make sure you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription if playing on Xbox One. You can't share impressions or stream the beta while playing due to the NDA, but you'll get to see a big chunk of the game before so many others, so at least there's that.
Right now there's no date planned for the upcoming test, but if you sign up you'll likely receive reminders, so make sure you put your name and information down if you're interested in joining.
Sea of Thieves is set for a 2018 release on Xbox One and PC.
