The Mafia series is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and 2K Games has put together a new trailer celebrating the trilogy. There's also a new PC bundle that brings together all three Mafia games for the first time ever.
Mafia originally made its debut back in 2002 on PC, eventually making its way to PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2004. Since then, the series spawned the excellent Mafia II and expansive Mafia III, which wasn't nearly as engrossing, but still a game worthy of exploring.
You can get all three games as part of the Mafia Triple Pack right now on Steam, which combines Mafia, Mafia II, and Mafia III for $66.27. The games are priced $14.99, $29.99, and $39.99 respectively, so you save about $18.70 by picking up the Steam bundle, with the 22 percent bundle discount.
If you choose only one Mafia game to enjoy and skip out on the bundle, however, make sure it's Mafia II, by far the best entry in the series. It built upon the original game with added characterization and the gripping tale of Vito Scaletta and company. Vintage tunes, vehicles, and a gritty campaign combined for a tale of a made man who got in way over his head a little too soon. It was great back when it released in 2010, and it stands up nearly a decade later.
