The beta will let you try both online and offline matches throughout stages culled from the main Final Fantasy games. Along with a varied roster of fighters, it will also feature special summons to bring into battle with you as well as copious amounts of character customization. You won’t get to dress Cloud in a neon jumpsuit or anything, but there’s some cool stuff to check out anyway.Â
The beta will only be available during specific times, however, so you’ll need to make sure you reference this timetable before hopping on. There will be a different selection of characters you can play as during each time slot.Â
