Good news for Narcos fans. The Netflix series is getting a video game, and it's coming next year.
Publisher Curve Digital and developer Kuju are working together to bring a Narcos video game to PC and consoles in a deal signed off by series producer Gaumont. Based off the hit Netflix series about the cocaine drug trade and cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar, at one time one of the world's richest criminals, the game promises to appeal to both gamers and series fans when it launches.
"We’re looking forward to creating a game that matches the fantastic storyline and gritty action of the Netflix series," Curve Digital and Kuju head Brynley Gibson told IGN. "We’re tremendously excited and have some amazing gameplay elements in the works that will please both fans of the show and gamers."
Gaumont also promises the game will let players "engage with the storylines and characters they have come to know over the past three seasons," but it's still unclear how that will play out. Expect Narcos for PC and consoles in spring 2019.
