Xbox’s Games With Gold program is chugging on into June, and with it are more Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles up for grabs for the low, low price of free.
This month, Xbox One users will get four games, while Xbox 360 owners will get two titles. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia is the biggest highlight of the current crop, which will be free June 1 through June 30. Later in June, the Smite Gold Bundle will be available from June 16 through July 15. This is a $100 bundle that you’ll get at zero cost, so better hop on it quick.
Xbox 360 owners can pick up some fun, family-oriented titles like Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed when it’s available starting on June 1 through June 15. It’ll then be replaced on June 16 with Lego Indiana Jones 2: The New Adventures. Both games will be playable by any Xbox One owners as well, as they’re backwards compatible.
Make sure you also pick up Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain for Xbox One, as it will remain free until June 15, and it’s an excellent title you won’t want to miss out on adding to your collection. You can also grab some of May’s titles, such as Super Mega Baseball 2 and Vanquish as well as Streets of Rage for free while they last.
Games With Gold, as the title implies, are only available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers, and the games rotate out each month. Once you grab them, they’ll be available in your download history to play again in the future if you need to free up some space. In addition to Xbox Game Pass, Games With Gold offers a pretty simple way to rack up free games from month to month so you don’t have to part with as much cash.
