We haven’t gotten a new Burnout game in a while, and many of us are sorely missing its vicious takedowns. According to Onrush’s launch trailer, it might scratch that itch quite nicely. Codemasters’ new arcade racer is a fast-paced, frenetic twist on traditional racing that’s out now, with an emphasis on team-based racing.

Available on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, you’ll be divided up into teams and assigned various types of vehicles as you careen through different tracks. Instead of it being every man for himself, traditional racing concepts have been twisted into something different entirely. There isn’t the staid old start and finish line, and instead players compete with rounds and different vehicle classes to take the win.

There are eight classes to choose from, each equipped with the “RUSH” power-up that helps you speed through the competition—literally through them in some cases, since you can engage in brutal takedowns that basically force other cars and bikes out of your way. It’s a lot of fun, just like the old days of Burnout 3: Takedown, and modern racers could use some more of this kind of action.

There are four game modes in the form of Overdrive, Switch, Lockdown, and Countdown, as well as 12 different locales to duke it out in across single and multiplayer modes. If you’re more into taking pictures of your exploits, you can use the new Photo Mode to get the best angles for your screenshots as well.

If this sounds like it might be up your wheelhouse, you can pick up the Onrush Day One Edition with a unique Vortex buggy design or the Onrush Deluxe Edition, with eight more designs you can unlock while playing. All versions are available now.
