Ubisoft has released brand new information on their Star Fox and Starlink: Battle for Atlus partnership, detailing exactly what Nintendo Switch owners will have access to when the game launches later this year.
Fox McCloud and the Arwing toy will come bundled in the Nintendo Switch starter pack alongside a bunch of weapons and extra goodies. Fox will be available to use for the entire game as a playable character and will have his own unique exclusive missions in the Switch version as add-on content.
The Zenith starship, however, is bundled with the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game. It will only be available as a digital option for Switch users as the ship will not be sold separately.
Switch owners who pre-order the game will still get the Startail pilot pack, which lets you play as a Startail pilot with explosive shots This is the same pre-order bonus available for other versions of the game.
The game will require a 15GB download in order to work on the Switch, so it might be wise to invest in a brand new micro SD card for the system before purchasing the title. The Nintendo Switch has a limited internal memory, so an external memory card might be required to play the game after future updates.
Starlink: Battle for Atlus launches on Oct. 16 for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. The game was originally shown off at Ubisoft’s conference last year alongside other titles that are set to be revealed over the next few months, including the upcoming Donkey Kong DLC expansion for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
