E3 2018 was rife with plenty of explosive announcements, with new games and chunks of footage from some of the games we’ve been hoping to see more of over the past few months. As usual, there was a deluge of amazing trailers as the show stretched on, and we’ve rounded up 10 of the best for you to look at. You don’t have to search far and wide across various YouTube channels to find them, either, because they’re all here for easy access.

Whether you’re looking for The Last of Us Part II’s explosive start to the PlayStation showcase or our first extended look at Cyberpunk 2077, we’ve got you covered. So sit back, relax, and take in some of the awesome trailers we’ve been afforded this year, because you’re about to see some amazing sights.

Death Stranding

Hideo Kojima’s upcoming Death Stranding continues to be as obtuse as ever, but this footage did introduce two new actresses and characters, as well as concepts we hadn’t seen before. It also included real gameplay footage rather than simple bits and pieces constructed from cutscenes, which was a welcome change of pace. The mysterious adventure with invisible monster-detecting devices, glowing fetuses, and lots of Norman Reedus is looking better than ever, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.

The Last of Us Part II

Naughty Dog shared a hefty 12 minutes of footage with us from The Last of Us Part II during Sony’s E3 showcase, and to fantastic effect. A heartfelt lesbian kiss between protagonist Ellie and girlfriend Dina was juxtaposed with brutal footage in one of the coolest ways we could have ever thought possible. Achieving this level of realism on current-gen platforms was indeed a feat, but it was pulled off flawlessly here. We can’t wait to see what’s next for Ellie, and what’s up with Dina, too.

Cyberpunk 2077

We’ve been waiting years for this, and we finally got a look at CD Projekt Red’s ambitious new project, Cyberpunk 2077. While we didn’t get a glimpse of true gameplay, we did get an eyeful of the kind of scope this project is aiming for, as well as the futuristic city where we’ll be spending most of our time. We were also introduced to the protagonist V, who you’ll customize to your liking at the beginning of the game. It’s going to be a long wait for this one.

Devil May Cry 5

Nero returns in this sequel to Devil May Cry 4, but he’s changed quite a bit since we last saw him. This action-packed look at Capcom’s Devil May Cry 5 reveals a new robotic arm for Nero and a new partner named Nico as well. Dante also rears his head later on in the clip, so he’ll be making an appearance in the game, too, but so far we aren’t sure of what sort of role he’ll be playing. All we know is that Devil May Cry 5 looks excellent.

Ghost of Tsushima

Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima’s trailer crafts something of an atmosphere caught between a samurai flick and the Bushido Blade series, with slick combat and stealth mechanics to die for—literally. The stunning duel at the end of the trailer brings to mind some of the best cinematography we’ve seen in films, and it’s clear this game is going to raise the bar when it comes to in-game imagery and what we can expect.

Beyond Good & Evil 2

Fans have been clamoring for a sequel to Beyond Good & Evil for some time, and now it’s finally here. The prequel to the 2003 cult classic was on display at Ubisoft’s presentation, and this new trailer reintroduces both Jade and Pey’J from the original game to great effect. No release date was offered, but we’re hungrier for the game than ever thanks to this excellent cinematic trailer.

Fallout 76

Fallout 76’s official trailer showed off more of what we wanted to see from its initial debut, and to great effect. Using the classic “Take Me Home, Country Roads” to punctuate its various scenes of foraging for supplies, building settlements, and living in a post-nuclear world, the trailer had us hooked the whole time. It’s time to see the world of Fallout from the very beginning, and we’re here for it.

Gears of War 5

The latest entry in the Gears of War franchise follows protagonist Kait Diaz, adding to the cavalcade of female characters taking the spotlight—a theme that seemed to be established during the entirety of E3 2018. It looks to liven things up considerably in terms of lush environments and a new series of monsters, with an injection of fresh elements that the Gears games have been in dire need of for the last couple of games. It looks like a wild ride, that’s for sure.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The new Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch had an impressive showing during Nintendo’s E3 presentation, announcing that the game, built from the ground up for the system, will bring back every single character to ever appear in the series. The presentation devoted an entire half hour to this game, and there’s a ton of new abilities, moves, animations, and voice lines to take in. Fans will no doubt have a field day going over the new information shared in this hefty trailer.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed is changing in some very significant ways, and all, seemingly, for the better. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey takes place in ancient Greece, with deeper role-playing elements, the ability to choose between a male and female protagonist, and a more fluid game overall that aims to put you right in the middle of the action. Oh, and did we mention there’s more naval combat? There totally is. This is going to be the game that fundamentally changes up the way we view the rest of the series, and we can’t wait to see how things unfold.
