It’s been two years already since the Oculus Rift hit the consumer VR market. To celebrate this milestone, Oculus is now holding its second anniversary sale, slashing prices across many of its most popular games, or VR experiences, as they like to call them.

Leading the way in new VR titles available now is L.A. Noire. Originally released many years ago, then turned into a VR experience for Vive owners, it is now available in the Oculus Rift store, which means you’ll no longer have to fiddle with any Vive to Rift oddities.

Many other titles are deeply discounted, including the bundles that are, in traditional Oculus fashion, named after colors for some reason. You can find all the details in the Oculus Anniversary Sale section of the Oculus store. For those gamers who received the $15 Oculus store credit that the company issued as an apology for some ill-timed SSL certificate updates that bricked its headset temporarily, now is the perfect time to spend them. For my part, I’m waiting to see if Lone Echo turns into a daily sale special.

If you’re uncertain where to spend your money, why not consult our Best VR Games of 2017 article. Many of those titles will be available at great prices at the moment.

For folks only just now looking to enter the VR market, there are no drastic price reductions on hardware, but recent announcements of the Oculus Go and HTC Vive Pro headsets, have seen many retailers run promotions for the Oculus Rift headset and Touch controllers bundle. It’s frequently on sale, so keep an eye out. If you choose to purchase the headset directly from Oculus during this anniversary sale, you will be given a $50 store credit, which you can immediately use on some of the heavily discounted games.

It’s going to be a good year for VR gaming, folks, and I hope you stay tuned to TL;DR Games for all the latest in news and recommendations. Now please excuse me, I have to head back to spending money.
